conlang dreams

There was a thread on dreams about conlanging some time ago.
I know I've had dreams about conlanging but couldn't remember
any particular cool ones. Anyway. As I was going through some
old mail, I stumbled upon one dream that I had told a friend
of mine about in a mail. It is both conlang and conculture
related.

A new world consisting of a bunch of islands had been discovered
outside the coast of Sweden. And me and my friend had been sent
there to explore it. It was really hot there, like if it'd been
one of the South Sea Islands (I guess, I haven't been there).
It was covered with white sand and lots of palm trees. There
were also small, very shallow (50 cms. deep) and very warm lakes
everywhere. After some walking, we finally found signs of a
civilisation.

There was a very different-looking house. I clearly
remember a bookshelf with literature from the unknown civilisation.
On top of that I found a book which was a book about the language
which was spoken in that civilisation! Then this other guy came
along and told me he was a naturalist(? That doesn't have anything
to do with language so I don't know why he told me. Bizarre.) and
wanted to take the book, but then I told him I was a linguist and
a typologist and should be the one to take the book. Unfortunately,
this is when I woke up and I didn't have time to look closer at
the language. Too bad.

Well. Just thought I'd share.
