Cool flag! What do the various parts of it symbolize?
While we're at it, here's the Rokbeigalmki flag:
http://boroparkpyro.free.fr/stuff/rokbflag.jpg
Along the right edge, top to bottom it says _rokbeigalm-a_, "the
Rokbeigalm (=riders of the waves)" in black letters.
The five colors and shapes represent various things, including the Five
Life Elements:
sky blue = _dwi_ (water; life-cycle event: birth)
yellow = _zek_ (fire; life-cycle event: puberty)
crimson = _reiyug_ (blood; life-cycle event: marriage)
green = _aurez_ (wood; life-cycle event: giving birth)
brown = _amal_ (earth; life-cycle event: death)
The blue lines are waves, representing _Báhhihr_, the Ocean, and the
Rokbeigalm's migratory periods. The yellow semicircle and red lines
together represent the rising and setting sun (Sémoz) over the ocean.
The yellow can also be the sun by itself, with the red lines being a
raised hand rising to grasp the sky (representing the strive to survive
and succeed), the fingers grasping inwards to unite the people as one.
The brown triangle and green T-shape together respresent landfall,
_Amál_, the Earth, and the Rokbeigalm's sedentary periods. Together
they
also form the shape of a sail, representing their ships. Although
individually the brown triangle can be the earth (as an island) or a
sail, and the green T-shape can be land (flora) or a raft-platform.
