If the homonyms are from a posteriori languages, I would be interested in knowing how the words were derived. I was browsing the other day through some non-IE word lists for words that I don't have. I found one in Estonian: liampa, to ski. This has become lïámpa (lïámpon, ski) in Senyecan. Now I don't have to use a compound word for this concept. mena: Iliani to give, Verdurian wave - Senyecan: to await, to remain. sora: Iliani to hunt, Verdurian community - Senyecan: to sour.
