It was indeed. It was just a mistake to talk about dvipdfm...

I simply converted his PS to a PDF by typing 'ps2pdf > grammar.ps'; this normally results in an on-screen readable PDF unless > the original PS was created with Type3 PS fonts, in which case it's > acceptible for printing but not for on-screen viewing. >
I see.

Of course! Silly me, I should think before typing :)) .

I sent the version I created to Teoh directly. I preferred not to show it to everyone myself because I want her opinion before, and if she finds it good enough to use. The file is not mine, so I'm not gonna show it to everyone before its creator agreed on it.

I see what you mean. And I'd agree for the most part, if I didn't have the bad experience that this sort of things doesn't work half of the times. Despite my very complete and up-to-date distribution of LaTeX, there are TeX files I still can't compile correctly, for no reason that I can find by myself. On the other hand, I never ever had a problem viewing a PS file (and rarely have problems with PDF files). I suppose it has to do with the author using non-standard features, but what can I do about it? :(( Christophe. http://rainbow.conlang.free.fr Take your life as a movie: do not let anybody else play the leading role.
