Perhaps this could be very close to the concept of
"colorless green" (ideas). Glas ideas sleep furiously.
I mention this because, when I tried to fancy what
could be colorless green, I instinctively thought of
the colour of the sea when the sun hides. This looks
very much like "glas" as described. Especially if you
remember that Wales is a rather maritime country.
