Yep. Unstressed short /a/ became /@/, which, depending on environment,
either was lost or became /a/. Thus, Aprilis -> Àflisis -> Àflís ->
Flís (à = /@/)

Yep. So today would be 16 Nobendlei, 2753 AUC. I may change Nobembei
and Gembei, but I'm not sure to what. Perhaps Nobembei will have the
name of the current Tleifettous (that would be an interesting idea - a
month whose name changes frequently), and Gembei will perhaps stay the
same, since the connection to _Ddece_ (ten) is not obvious. Or maybe
_Tlutouneyous_ < Plutonarius < Pluto. Many possibilities for renaming
Nobembei and Gembei. I've never liked the connection to numbers in the
months' names, especially since the numbers ceased to be accurate long
ago.
