CHAT: Work weeks WASRe: Words for "boredom"

Siyo!
All this talk about perceived time had me thinking.
Fifty years ago, Americans predicted that their
forty-hour work weeks would shrink by now, but in
fact, they have increased by an average of ten hours.
Does anyone know what this looks like in other
countries?  I know about France's work-week laws, but
I don't have historical perspective on it.
