I could maybe make Toronto, especially if there was carpooling from NYC, which I
will probably be somewhere near in July. However, whatever job I have then will
not be the same one I've got now, so I have no idea if work will interfere.q

Toronto sounds good to me too. I'd prefer it to be in *my* hometown, of
course, :-) , but there've been a few times that i wanted to go to
Toronto and never got to, so this'd be a good reason to actually get
there for once. And i'm pretty sure that there are enough conlangers in
the NYC area that we could work out some kind of carpool system that'd be
much more fun than taking a long bus ride with strangers.
Note: i wish i was volunteering, but i'm not. my parents won't let me
drive the family car to queens from brooklyn, much less to a whole nother
country :-S .
