It's the digit 'one'. I meant that it is the first issue of 1997,
pages 279-346.

I was being ironic. Hence the ";)". Of course you should ask politely.
And not only to librarians. To the wiener cart guy as well. I'm not
sure about the guys handling student loans, though...
