Basically, because I found it a bit too boring. I have been considering several possibilities. Polish has "Niemcy", but since this is a Slavic word, I didn't want to adopt it. Well, one the Veneds' closest early encounters with the Germans was with the Teutonic knights, I reckoned "Tutoni" would be a good solution. Besides, I didn't like the possible outcome "Z^rzemania". ;) The term "Germani" remains reserved for the total of all Germanic peoples...

Really? I am still interested in knowing all there is to know about Slevanek (not Slevanjek, after all?) Jan ===== "Originality is the art of concealing your source." - Franklin P.
