If I were to develop Chimpanzeese, I have to consider the fact that
they use visual information to a large extent in their communication.
Humans do that too, of course, but largely we manage well with only
the verbal information that we take down also in writing. Though the
famous difficulty in using irony in writing shows that the
information taken down is not complete. So I wonder if any of you
have any experience with including non-verbal communiaction in
writing. Emoticons of course is a famous way to solve it, and
something similar can be done in any writing system, perhaps
developing it to some kind of diacritics, special letters or other.
