Well, there were Parisii in Humberside; they could easily have named a
city in some place not conquered by Franks. (Alternate historians take
note.)
Atrebates, Belgae, Brigantes also appeared both in Britain and on the
Continent. I assume the Fir Bolg of Irish legend were related to the
Belgae.
