my new conlang is now described on one page : http://members.aol.com/manishtusu/tayalit.html it's a 3C-root language with many affixes. sample : tanan nawashuk ye-talam p=FBwutoka-m he cuts a-tree which-makes-him-fall "he falls cutting a tree" -m refers to him (subject of main verb) tanan nawashuk ye-talam p=FBwuteka-n he cuts a-tree so-as-to-make-it-fall "he cuts down a tree" -n refers to the tree (object of main verb) it owes a lot to Joshuah's explanation about "directive" cases and the last string of posts re. making any topicized case a subject. like an english relex, the directive case is identified by means of a gerund (? - is "making him/it fall" a gerund ?). it's a long language again. it's still fun. mathias
