No, "te amo" is correct. The present of amare (to love) is: amo,amas,amat,amamus,amatis,amant. The original IE -m is replaced with the -o ending in a number of tenses in Latin, incuding the present indicative, if I remember correctly. Tony Harris Community College of Vermont
