Spoken Thoughts - Fixes / Comments / stuff

I really messed up on some things, and I wasn't quite clear on a lot of
others ( pointed out Nik Taylor ), so I compiled all the things Nik and I
discussed and came up with the following ( with a reworking of the pronoun
system ).

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Adjectives: the difference with -(e)tto, -(a)nno, and -(ie)nna is not very great a difference. The parenthesized vowel shows which ending to use if that vowel is in that particular spot ( or group of vowels for that matter ). For the other vowels, just tack on any of the three endings, usually -(e)tto. If the word ends in a consonant, use the specific vowel that flows well with the language to make the ending... I hope you know what I mean, cause what sounds well is a phonoligical rule, it is just unwritten ( like all phonology rules thus far... ) Example: using AUDR as the root, we get the useful, uninflicted form Audrie- ( no diphthong ). You would use -(ie)nna because, as the ending on Audrie- shows, it would be -(ie)nna... Comprende Muy Bien? Anyways... So it would form: Audrienna.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Comparitives: I will use an example of the comparitives to show you how it works... EX: _An Vette audrienna alla Jemikke_ The comparitive initializer: _an_ Followed by the first noun to be compared against: _Vette_ Followed by the basis for the comparison ( the adjective ): _audrienna_ Followed by the comparitive keyword, signifying what the first is compared to the second, IE: better, or worse; bigger, smaller...: _alla_ Followed by the final noun that shows which is worse or better... prefixed by je-: _Jemikke_ Nota Bene: the comparative nouns should be in nom case or in the dative case ( don't ask why, it just is an idio-thingy ). Nota Bene: Articles/Demonstratives can be used in front of nouns... Meaning: Vette is not as pretty as Mikke... Hope that makes sense... Audrienna = pretty, beautiful, georgious, magnificant _alla_ = less than ( used to mean that A is not as BLANK as B )
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Conjunctions: You have the base and optionally followed by a key to change the value of the base. The base, by itself means "and", but with the different endings, means many different things, such as -la on the end of the base, _toh_, would produce "or". So here is an example sentance: EX: _Toh jette Mikke kot vette tultar hesto_ Toh: base, without an addtional key... jette Mikke: The Blank ( no meaning for Mikke yet ) kot: the linker to show that A is related/compared to B... vette: a blank ( no meaning for Vette yet ) tulta: meaningless thus far ( this is the verb ) hesto: object of sentance, meaningless too... Meaning: The Blank and a blank blanked a blank... ^_^ Comprende bien?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Demonstratives/Article: The demonstrative _Jette_/_Jattan_ ( use depends on whether the first character of the noun is a vowel or consonant: IE: Mikke would be Jette Mikke, but Alte would be Jattan Alte ), like I was saying, the demon. _Jette_/_Jattan_ is the article "The" when translated into English, but basically is saying "This", meaning it is definate... The others are all self explanatory... If you don't want to talk about an object/thing, you will change from Jet- as the base to joldala to represent "here" ( in reach of me ( within walking distance ) ), and jikala, "now" ( in reach of me ( not too far ) ).
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Particles: Nelle is used as the negator, meaning _nelle mikke_ would mean "Not Blank". The softener has no meaning infecting properties, meaning, if you use it, it does not change the meaning of your word/sentance. The only time you need to use the softener is to make the ending go on to an awkward word. EX: MIK with the ablative ending -ndil. That wouldn't work: Mikkndil... So, we add the softener in there to get Mikkendil ( Note Bene: the ending -ndil already has an _n_, so it just displaces the _n_ on -en-... It wouldn't really matter whatever you do, except if you do Mikkenndil, which would be bad :-( )
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Pronouns: I really screwed up the Pronouns... ^_^ Here are the corrected pronouns: SG PL SPL TRL STL 1: Tolda 2: Melda 3: Aldar, Aldan, Alda -(e)l -(e)lma -(e)ngol -(e)ndol Single: No Change Sub-Pl: -(e)lma Plural: -(e)l Dual: -(en)ol Trial: -(e)ngol Septal: -(e)ndol Polite: U-/Un-/Um- Familiar: No Change Exclusive: -ar Inclusive: No Change To mean a group of 3, you would say _Aldengol_, and a group of 7 that is all female, you would say _Aldanendol_. Aldar = him Aldan = her Alda = neuter Possesive: double last vowel's length... IE: Aldaar, or Aldendool...
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I hope that will clarify some things ^_^ It shows how many people actually read my posts ^_^_^_^ Namaarie, Eruanno _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
