Yes, [x] or [x_w] is perfectly normal. To be fair to Ferko's cousin it
should be told that the prescriptionists [x_S_w] is very much a minority
pronunciation. As I'm quite sure Andreas is aware of most people in
southern and middle Sweden use [x] varieties while most people in north
Sweden and Finland use [s`] or [S] varieties. I'm afraid we create
confusion by joking about this in front of a mostly English-speaking
audience...
