The odd thing is, you'd think that guttural sounds would ruin any
language's chances of sounding beautiful, but I think that Arabic is a
beautiful-sounding language. So is Portuguese, despite its nasal vowels. =

don't think French is either especially beautiful or especially =
unpleasant
in sound, though. Some languages are definitely more pleasant-sounding =
than
others, as I hear them, but I don't know what makes them that way. If I
did, I would probably have done Jarrda a bit differently. It's =
unfortunate
that one of my more successful language experiments so far is also one of
the least pleasant-sounding ones.
