I quit smoking some eight years ago, after ten years as a rather heavy
smoker. Unincidentally I quit drinking coffee at the same time (since
coffee without smoke gave me a strong smoke urge), but took up strong coffe
again after a couple of years. Quit sweetening the coffee some years ago
to improve my dental status. Recently started with milk in the coffee
again after discovering low-lactose milk in the stores. I also have cut
down considerably on beer in recent years due to my medication, but an
occasional beer or cider and an occacional wine still happens, although I
have to skip the medication that evening -- don't tell my doctor!

I have no strong feelings about any of these habits, tho I suspect I would
be upset if my kids start to smoke or develop heavy drinking habits. Like
many ex smokers I'm irritated by others' smoking indoors, but not
intolerably so.

ObConlang: In Sohlob there is:

_kug_ /k_hug_0/ "wine"
_tjib_ /ts\_hib_0/ "beer"
_vex_ /v\@x/ "a herb that is burnt and the smoke inhaled" :-O
there are also _puh_, _hun_ and _ozb_ which are glossed as "coffe", "tea"
and "chocolate", but not necessarily quite the same things, since I'm not
even sure that Sohlodar is located on Earth.
