In Narbonósc:
stêre /stEr/: to be, spine /spin/: spine, stade /stad/: stadium (a late
borrowing from Latin, so it doesn't follow the usual sound changes),
stat /sta/: state.

Me too! I especially like the result in Narbonósc orthography: a vowel with
circumflex followed by ou. Beautiful!
