I have a different problem: Valdyas has no connection to Earth so I
can't give a "Valdyan calendar for the year 2000" because I don't
know what year that is (in fact, it's totally irrelevant).
Anyway, the Valdyan year starts on the spring equinox; is that
equivalent to January 1 or March 21 for your purposes?
