It seems that it doesn't, in Russia. As a common custom, at any rate.
The concept of a patron Saint of a *family* seems unique. I must
consult my personal expert on Bulgarian matters, though; I've heard
there are some practices common to Bulgarian and Serbian Orthodoxes.
