Actually, Uatakassi is *only* 12. The written numerals are based on 6,
but don't let that fool you. :-) The languages itself is base 12.

It's hard to write something in a foreign language, especially when it's
as little-known as the average conlang. :-)

I wouldn't say "a sort of shame", any more than an artist who paints an
imaginary scene, but making sure to make it look real, has "a sort of
shame". I think it's the same idea. Some artists strive to be
realistic, while others favor more abstract forms.
