Every language does that. When they borrow a word, it becomes a word in their language, which they are then free to change as they desire (look at how Japanese creates a lot of new words like bakkumiraa [back-mirror] for "rear-view mirror"). Since English does not have gramatical gender (except in pronouns), it's pointless to try to import it that foreign concept into English, altho it's been done in writing with blond/blonde more-or-less. Besides, English doesn't even use "bravo" as an adjective, it's an interjection, like "congratulations". -- "If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore, and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God!" - Ralph Waldo Emerson ICQ: 18656696 AIM Screen-Name: NikTailor
