Well. I live in the tropic, and all the snow, and reinders, and Santa Cl=
aus is
actually seen as USA cultural colonialism (a succesfull one). I know USA=
is not
the only country with white Christmas (I've myself lived in Europe).
Colombia traditions survive at some extend, and I guess most children has=
addressed their gift list to _el Ni=F1o Dios_ than to _Pap=E1 Noel_, and =
people
still join during 9 days for praying _la Novena de Aguinaldos_ but will p=
robably
get more interested in the social meeting and _la rumba_ than in actually=
praying.
Snow, reinders, and "Merry Christmas" are alien, but you would probably m=
ake
your _pesebre_ besides a plastic or metalic Christmas tree, and decore wi=
th
images of Santa Claus (=3D Pap=E1 Noel), Reinders, Snowmen, and singing c=
hildren,
getting a email postcard with a "Merry Christmas" legend, and a "Let It S=
now"
midi background.
