Yes, indeed. Way back in the 1950s in the "Eagle" comic here in the UK,
the Mercurians spoke a strange language (all vowels sung on different
notes) which had no verbs. Several examples of the language were given
and some literal translations. but, alas, I have no record of this and i
have searching the Internet for info, but in vain.
