Of course! Let me see... If I look only at [a], it can be written: |a|, |oa|, |y| in |yfd| pronounced [ag], |i| in some irregular cases, and I've not counted the ways to write [a] when it's part of a diphtongue :)) . [p] can be written |b|, |ib|, |m| or |im| (which is in fact [(m)p], that's to say optionally prenasalised :) ). And those are only the regular spellings :)) .

Hehe, I have an idea that the speakers of Maggel would not be that different (czHANG already gave me the idea that they could be descendants of the Picts, which as far as I know were never described as pacifists :)) ).
