See the PDF document here: http://xrl.us/bo2g

Title: A Comparison of Modern Azeri with Modern Turkish
It notes, for instance, that the Azeri alphabet has three more letters
than the Turkish; the extras are q, x, and ə (schwa).
According to a brief web search, Turkish pronunciation is something like this:
a [a]
â [ja]
b [b]
c [dZ)]
ç [tS)]
d [d]
e [E]
f [f]
g [g]
ğ silent - lengthens the preceding vowel
h [h]
i [i]
ı [V] or [@] (that's a dotless i)
j [Z]
k [k]
l [l]
m [m]
n [n]
ö [2]
o [o]
p [p]
r [4]
s [s]
ş [S]
t [t]
u [u]
ü [y]
v [B] (sometimes spelled <w> in foreign words)
y [j]
z [z]
