I do not know the assimilation rules of your native language but in some languages "normal" /h/ phoneme is pronounced in this way next to voiced consonants (e.g. possibly in words like |adhere|). Czech and Slovak |h| is [h] by default. [H\] is a tricky sound. You must to do the same as in case of [h] but the epiglottis is used to make a narrowing not the glottis.
