Speaking is a bit much - I exchange Latin phrases and puns around with one of my collegues (he's had six years of Latin at school and did one year of classics at University). His grammar is infinitely better than mine, because I have never had any formal tuition in Latin, but my vocabulary is a bit better. Anyway I can read, or used to be able to read, Latin, Koine Greek, Sanskrit, Classical Chinese and Classical Tibetan. Latin is the language that has had the most staying power, I feel. Reading lots of medieval Latin has helped a lot. Boudewijn Rempt | http://www.valdyas.org
