etymology and Romanian

Hello all.
I'm thinking of deriving a daughter language from Aredos, and basing it on
Romanian- learning Romanian has been one of my pet projects for a while now.
But first, a few queries:
The common surname ending -escu. What does it mean and what is its etymology? It
seems to be a patronymic.
What is the etymology of the particle o used with the subjunctive to form the
future tense, and also on the subjunctive, what is the etymology of the
particle sa (with a breve on the a)?
The genitive/dative ending -ei, -ui and -or, what are they derived from? No other
Romance language retains noun inflection.
Does anyone know where I can find a table of sound changes from Vulgar Latin to Romanian?
