Ah yes. Sandhi would make even a perfectly regular system complicated.

I forgot to mention that 32 and 40 are tied into the phonology: there are 32 distinct C/V possibilities in even moras and 40 in odd ones.

(Had to look up Just Intonation, having forgotten which one it was -- as a mainly-wind-instrument guy I never paid too much attention to tuning systems) Jeff
