The origin of the word is unknown

BTW I've also learnt a new word. Never heard of a 'pillbug' before; but I'
ve looked in my dictionary & find it's one of those little critters I've
called a 'wood-louse' (pl. wood-lice) all my life. IIRC the only
land-living crustacean :)
