I share that tic. :) My most recent coinage in this space is
"cospicuon", for the state of being conspicuous. (By analogy with
"oblivious" -> "oblivion"). I mean, the standard "conspicuousness"
is just too awkward,with the redundant-sounding back-to-back /@s/'s.
Needed I to be understood, I would go with something a little clearer,
like "conspicuousity" or "conspicuity", but if I have the opportunity
to explain, then "conpsicuon" is it. :)
