Odd as it might be, the sublative refers to "motion to on top of sg".

And the excessive does exist as a case in Votian and Madzhi (probably others too...) An example of its meaning: ta:ma: on jo tulo~nnu koosse soldatind. 3sg is already arrived home-ALLATIVE soldier-EXCESSIVE He has already returned home from being a soldier. (Meaning, he isn't a soldier anymore). It works the same way in Madzhi. ---ferko
