Likewise, off the coast of North Carolina, there's an island called
"Emerald Isle", which is not the canonical Emerald Isle. The conversation
that lead to my finding this out is lost in the background, but I do
remember I found it out the hard way.

... ... and, they're not really in England, though they are in The British
