No, it's a bit of Polari that made it into mainstream slang --
_carsey_ < Italian _casa_. (It is often spelt <kazi> or <khazi>,
which probably reflects an unconscious erroneous but not foolish
surmise that it belongs among the large amount of BrE slang of
Indian/Hindi origin.) All the Australians I know say "dunny".
