That's the exact image in my mind when I coined the following usage of the
word _vyy'i_ in my conlang:
vyy'i [By:.i]
Describes feelings of ill-health, severe headache.
The root meaning of _vyy'i_ refers to a whirlpool-like phenomenon in the
Ferochromon universe. The word has acquired a rather negative meaning,
because the Ebisedi use the _vyy'i_ whirlpools as a means of garbage
disposal. The word soon came to be a metaphor for "refuse" or "garbage",
and came to be used as a curse word when directed at people.
In that sense, one could attribute severe headaches to all that trash in
one's head ;-)
