Keep checking at linmodems.org, which is where the Linux drivers for
Winmodems live.  Or consider buying a PCMCIA modem....

I run Linux here as the sole OS, with VMWare to run Win95 on.  It's amazing
how stable Win95 is when you only use it for a few things; I get a virtual
crash maybe once a month, and even then I just have to restart VMWare again.
Also, it's very cool to minimize the whole of Windows and leave Linux the
only visible OS, or to let Windows be full-screen.
