The Kassii have long since realized that eclipses are merely a matter of
shadows, since they have two suns, and thus, even when one sun's light
is blocked, the other sun is still reflecting off the moon. Plus, very
rarely, one moon will pass in front of another, or cast a shadow on
another.
Total *solar* eclipses are unknown to the Kassii, since neither of their
moons is large enough to completely block the sun.
