Hence, the Taiwanese (at least the under-50 set) don't seem to have a
pathological aversion to salad. Alas, trying to expose the natives to
salad dressing possibilities other than the ubiquitous Thousand
Island was a losing battle. Cucumber dill? Ranch? Fuhgeddaboutit!
