I wonder if I can find funny town names in France. Not many I guess, though my
hometown Petit-Couronne has kind of a funny history about its name: during the
Revolution, it was renamed Fraternité because of the connection between the word
couronne: "crown" and royalty. If they had kept that name I would be now a
Fraternitéen (looks like the name of a member of a sect :) ). Since it reverted
back to the old name I am now a Couronnais.
