And there's always Lackawanna, the industrial
section of Buffalo, New York;
pronounced, by the natives, something like
/l&k@wan@/
but with extreme, bone-jarring, total nasalization
on all the vowels!
It's been many years since I've been through that
way, but the pronounciation still sticks in my memory.
    One other interesting bit is their
pronounciation of the word "fantastic",
which the extreme nasalization produces,
IIRC, something like [fj:tj:stk] --- that's a long palatal approximate,
not a long vowel /i/], with the velum down and the nasal passage
wide open! )
