are the minutes and hours the same as on earth?  for me to convert the
time here to kontoko time, i have to figure out the number of seconds
from a known time, convert the seconds to kontoko "seconds" (which are
equal to about 2/3 of a second), and then split it up into "minutes",
"hours", days, months, and years... it took me a long time to figure out
how to do that in qbasic, especially since there's a bug in qbasic that i
found that makes it say there's an overflow when there isn't... i finally
managed to get the program to work by shuffling the values around between
variables... dont ask me why it worked, but it did!

i guess it could have been worse... just imagine if you had sent it to
some list that isn't conlang related at all...
