Though if you wanted a masculine ['Elvis] in modern Greek, you could
get it by spelling it epsilon-lambda-beta-*eta*-sigma (derived from a
word with the same spelling in ancient Greek).
(Other possibilities include ['ElvOs] < *elbos and ['Elvas] < *elps.
['Elvus] only as a genitive of a neuter nominative *elbos. And
['ElvEs] as plural nom/acc of the feminine ['Elvi] :D)
