The Friulian dialect is spoken in North Eastern Italy and is
considered an indipendent language, because of some features (as the plural
in -s) that are absolutely un-Italian, but very close to Rumauntsch.

Here is the only text I've been able to find in that dialect (it's the
description of an electronic instrument: don't ask me how did I get it!!!) :

Atac di corint cu lis busis di sigurece s'a si met si vierzin nome quant c'a
si met dentri la spine. No l'è pericul di cjapa^ la scosse.

...the translation in my own dialect (that of Como, Western Lombardian
Dialects):

Presa de ? cunt i büüs de segürtaa ca sa verdan dumaa a mètach dentar 'na
spina. Gh'è mia pericul de ciapass 'na scosa.

...and in Italian:

Presa di ? con buchi di sicurezza che si aprono solo se vi si inserisce una
spina. Non c'è pericolo di prendere la scossa.

Obviously I myself prefer my own dialect, but what do *you* say?
