Agreed on the point about Scot English and modern English, it is all about the same thing. But it would not be the first time a language was called multiples cause of politics. Portugese and Spanish, are they just dielects? Same with Italian, Spanish and Portugese? Dielects of one super language, but cause of country and politics are seperate? Mike
