I don't really feel that the first syllable of "Europe" plus the entirety of
"Asia" is equal representation. (Nor do I think this's a problem.)
In this, I may be unnecessarily influenced by my L1; _Eurasien_
/e:8'ra:si:En/ don't sound much like _Europa_ /E'ru:pa/, but does include
_Asien_ /'a:si:En/. The connection 'tween "Europe" and "Eurasia" is rather
more obvious.
