Well now, that's naughty. In a small group at least, if one person has run
up the bulk of the bill (that's usually me..) it's customary to chip in a
little more, or cover the tip or somesuch. In a large group, it can
sometimes be difficult to know (or remember....) who's responsible for the
filet mignons vs. the chicken delights, or the 17 martinis etc etc., so in
that case the abstemious person may feel put-upon. Still, the others ought
to take that into consideration.
