Right. In Carashán: "senonclinatomveronát" This is a direct calque. "palaeo-" is from the Ancient Greek word palaios "ancient". The Aredos word for ancient is "senondos", which is the augmentive of senos, "old". The scientific Carashán prefix is senon-, a scolarly reborrowing. "Climate" is from a Greek word meaning "slope", klima. The Aredos word for slope is "clínás", "latitude/climate" is the augmentive of this- clínatondos. This was borrowed into Carashán to give "clinatón". The Carashán suffix for "the study of" is -veronát, from the Aredos uerondáre "to study". So: senon- clinatón -veronát palaeo- climate -ology all comes together as "senonclinatomveronát", ancient-climate-study. Yes, I did have to add this one to the dictionary.
