Scheisse. I can't possibly understand how Germans could have the bad taste
to make it a rude word. Unless they wanted to make the thing less unpleasant
by giving it a beautiful name...

My other favorites include, for example, the Swedish words _odjur_ "monster"
(literally "unanimal", which I also think is very clever) and _skymf_ "insult".

...Why do all these words have in some way negative meanings?

Also, I find the whole Russian language very beautiful.
